Il bilancio delle vittime si sta aggravando e le notizie che ci arrivano dai nostri contatti in Siria sono terribili. Il team di Yalla Study che da mesi lavora per sostenere gli studenti siriani con il Forum si sta attivando per aiutare i civili.
Quello che ci raccontano i nostri contatti indica una situazione di emergenza drammatica: assenza di aiuti materiali in molte zone colpite e centinaia di persone per strada senza un riparo.
Per ragioni geopolitiche e a causa delle sanzioni verso il governo siriano, non arrivano aiuti in quei territori dove pesa per le stesse motivazioni anche la presenza intermittente di supporti internazionali. Inoltre per la grave crisi economica che ha da tempo colpito il paese, il governo stesso non ha sufficienti mezzi per intervenire. Proprio in queste zone ora la popolazione civile sta facendo di tutto per portare generi di prima necessità e tutto ciò che può riparare le persone dal freddo. Noi vogliamo inviare aiuti proprio in quelle zone supportando questi gruppi che conosciamo, perché ora serve questo aiuto immediato e dal basso! The death toll is getting worse and the news reaching us from our contacts in Syria is terrible. The Yalla Study team, who have been working for months to support Syrian students with the Per Cambiare L’Ordine delle Cose – Forum nazionale, is working to help civilians. What our contacts tell us indicates a dramatic emergency situation: no material aid in many affected areas and hundreds of people on the streets without shelter.
For geopolitical reasons and because of the sanctions against the Syrian government, no aid is arriving in those areas where the absence of international support also weighs heavily. Moreover, due to the serious economic crisis that has long affected the country, the government itself does not have sufficient means to intervene. It is precisely in these areas that the civilian population is now doing everything possible to bring basic necessities and anything that can shelter people from the cold.
We want to send aid to specifically those areas by supporting these groups we know, because what is needed now is this immediate help directly to the civilian population from below! We are asking you to participate with a donation to bring first aid to Lattakia and Aleppo and not to let the people who survived the earthquake die of hardship.thankyou.
